I have always wanted to try kayak fishing. It would be perfect for trolling I would think.
I have a Hobie fishing kayak. It has a pedal system that basically help propel you through the water. It's pretty cool. It is a great fishing kayak too. It comes with a built-in tackle box and rod holders. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a good fishing kayak. It is called a Hobie Mirage Sport.
Man that must be sick to do on the ocean, i've only ever fished from a kayak in lakes
I am akayak fisherman from Orange County Ca. I love it. I am 14.
I've never done it in the ocean, but i fish almost exclusively from a kayak in rivers. It's really fun and gives every catch a little twist because you have to fight the fish while keeping your kayak under control.
That carts not a bad idea. I have a closed hull boat so I can easily pack for weekend trips and avoid everything getting wet on the river. It's amazing how quickly a 40 lb boat becomes a 60-70 lb boat with a weekends worth of gear tucked inside.
