Why we skipped some “deals”
Cabela’s Labor Day page advertises discounts on more than 1,700 items, and we checked several more before landing on these four. A Sig Sauer Kilo3K rangefinder we found in an older roundup turned out to be selling at its regular $349.99 price with no discount at all right now — we left it out rather than repeat a stale number. We also passed on a few items where the “sale” price matched what other retailers already charge every day, unless — like the Tactacam pick above — the underlying product itself is one Outdoor Life specifically recommends.
