I’m in the middle of one of my big roundups of new rifles and shotguns and I can’t deny it: my workroom right now is a mess and my scopes seem to be spreading like mushrooms in a cave.

Why so many? Well, each new rifle gets shot with both high-magnification target scopes for maximum precision during accuracy testing and, in the case of hunting rifles, a scope that is appropriate for that use. So I have a profusion of optics blanketing my workbench at the moment.

This kind of reminds me of those waterfowl pictures that run in the back of the DU magazines where you have to try to ID the different breeds. How many makes and models do I have here?
