Outdoor Life's online "calyncokeboy" shot this great longbeard in Kansas in April. He weighed in at 26 pounds, had a 10 1/2" beard and thick 1" spurs.
"He came in like he was on a string, just like I had planned, but when I pulled the trigger nothing but a click. I pulled the action back on my auto far enough it tried to load another shell and slammed it back forward, aimed and boom down he went. At three weeks old my lil Devyn isn't so sure about turkeys."–Grizzfreitag

14 year old Josh Randall of Lebanon, Me. took his first turkey on the NH youth weekend. After a few yelps and purrs, 3 jakes sounded off and headed our way up the hardwood ridge. I told Josh to get ready as one jake seperated himself from the other two. I clucked, he "periscoped" and Josh laid him to rest with one shot from the 20 ga. Mossberg pump. Congrats Josh and welcome to turkey addiction!–james7xchamp3
