Here’s how to make your own, personalized hunting knife. You can buy a new blade to fit with the antler handle, or you can use an old blade, like this one I found while hunting in the Rocky Mountains.

You will need:

  1. Knife blade

  2. A 4.5- to 5.5-inch piece of antler, preferably with burr attached

  3. Band saw or hack saw

  4. Drill and bit

  5. 5-minute, two-ton epoxy

  6. Belt sander

  7. Dremel or rasp set

  8. Sandpaper

  9. Steel wool
