Give yourself a break from the pulled pork sandwiches, and try substituting bear instead. Here’s a surprisingly easy recipe that tastes great, too.
1 bear shoulder roast
2 tbsp vegetable oil
salt and pepper
½ cup barbeque sauce (or more, as desired)
1. Preheat oven to 250.
2. Place roast on heavy duty aluminum foil. Cover ¼ cup barbecue sauce and salt and pepper.
3. Wrap roast tightly in aluminum foil.
4. Roast 3 hours or until meat easily comes away from the bone.
5. Strip meat from bone. Mix with remaining barbecue sauce.
