The 98B delivers on its promise: Namely, that it is a tactical rifle suited for hunting. Our sample, chambered in .300 Win. Mag., printed tiny 5-shot groups with all kinds of ammo. Its accuracy is excellent, as is its shootability.

There are not many 9.5-pound rifles in .300 Win. Mag. you can bang away with all day, but this is one, even without a muzzle brake. The 98B is as tough as a tank, and despite its angular lines, it’s surprisingly easy to carry. The price is steep enough to make an oil baron faint, but it is an impressive piece of technology.
