w tg CAT my same thoughts plus this thick stuff offers lots of hiding places,deer will often hold tight like a rabbit either snaking way behind you or exploding up and away. MAST trees yeid tons of nuts and become harder to find but are stil there,watch the squrriels and see where they search .
When all else fails during late season, find a thicket laden with honey suckel and hunt the fringes of it, the deer like it and will often use it to fill there bellys.
