they have the #11 right but there should be another there that ties that one, i know because i live in Ohio, before Jerman killed that deer, the typical record in Ohio had been for many years scored the exact same amount 201 1/8 and it was killed in Clark county, Ohio, i don't remember the year but i'm sure you can look around on the internet and find it.
Second largest typical deer on this page is wrong. The second biggest whitetail deer ever taken by a hunter is mounted on display at the Cabela's store in Kansas City KS, In Wyandotte county. The buck scored 209 3/8" and was shot by a man named Brad Hughes. Just so everyone knows.
The old photos make me wish I could go back in time and hunt in jeans and flannel like the old days.
I love seeing big bucks,I just shot my first nontypical for 2012 with my bow 15 points and cant wait for 2013 season
Roughly 183 days for the Saskatchewan white tail deer rifle season up here...cannot wait seeing these pictures. Last year I rattled in a 2.5 on opening day at 3:14pm....man I am itching to get out and scout / shed hunt.
Congrats to all. The bucks are all fantastic Monsters. I noticed Alberta, Illinois and Ohio each had five of the trophys listed. Iowa and Saskatchewan each had four hogs listed. If I ever move again, I will diffidently check the Real Estate sales in these five areas.
Wow! looking at all these big bucks has already got me anxious for the upcoming 2012-13 deer hunt, hopefully oneday I will get me a trophy!
That #11 typical story is something I would try and do haha..
I really like the old black and white photos. Great job gentleman. Great job indeed!
Nice work. Keep the big ones coming!
Crazy...even the "smallest" on this slideshow is bigger than anything I could imagine killing.
what a buck I would like to see one like this one how about you?
#6 Non-Typical (tie)Score: 295 3/8 Location: Ohio Hunter: Jonathan R. Schmucker Year: 2006
